Turned our world upside down at 4.47am on the 20th May weighing a whopping 9lb 12.5.

Our beautiful girl has completed us and filled our hearts so full it’s hard to even put into words. But we are captivated by her every move and sound and it feels like she has been with us forever. Shes our little rainbow that has filled our lives with the brightest colours and the best adventure yet!! We are absolutely besotted and adore her.

@dannythefarrier has been our hero and cared for us both the minute those two pink lines appeared and through Blake’s labour he was the rock to help bring our little girl into our world, he kept me breathing right, he encouraged and pushed me when I needed it and held my hand throughout without the need for any pain relief. I knew without a shadow of the doubt he would be the most amazing daddy there is but nothing could have prepared me for the moment I pulled Blake out of the water and looked at him as the tears fell down our faces. Watching dan finally get to have his time with his little girl was pure magic and their bond is already so beautiful.

Blake, we love you so much, you have changed our lives forever and made us the happiest mummy and daddy in the world. You are our everything and but most importantly, always our Boo.

No buts xxxx

But honestly, I’m crying and you never know who needs a pick me up. PLUS I have the most energy I’ve had in ages today!!! And I feel like it’s been a while since a bit of my usual ‘red energy’ was injected into this space!!!

Mick - 15 months old and coming along absolutely beautifully now he’s settled in.

He’s had some big shoes to fill now Fraser is retired and he’s honestly making it a dream. Took me YEARS to find him, but I adore this red dog. ❤️

Dry hoggs have been wormed and given a mineral bolus and headed up to the highest point of the farm to summer and grow! My last big sheep job before Boo comes and lets be honest @dannythefarrier did most of it! I just enjoyed working Mick in the pens for the first time & taking sheep back out!!!

Lambing 2023 is officially over!
Although as always the work only just begins here in making sure we keep our flock happy, healthy and thriving.

But lying in bed this morning and knowing everyone is finally getting the chance to sleep in a bit and not have to wake up checking cameras through the night or fly up to the shed in a panic to help birth a lamb feels like true bliss!!!

I thought lambing would be pretty tough & stressful this year having to take such a big step back, but honestly it’s been the opposite thanks to these amazing people right here. Although I couldn’t physically touch I was still a huge part of lambing time and the eyes and ears of the shed. These guys were so patient with me and ewes which we can all imagine were both probably difficult to deal with at times. They absolutely grafted their arses off to make this lambing a complete success and I can hand on heart say it truly has been a massive success.

@elliemartin310_ took two weeks off work to come and help us &took some huge pressure off through the busy chunk of lambing. Thanks Elle!!

And as for @dannythefarrier @amandajice @stuice @ethannkinney….I mean what haven’t they juggled to go above and beyond. Middle of the night run ups to the shed, early mornings before their actual jobs, late night lambing’s, ditching zoom calls half way through to lamb sheep for me, shoeing horses coming back and going back shoeing again….I mean the list is endless and the days probably felt even more endless for everyone at times!

The only thing they ever complained about was that I needed to do more resting. And I am so grateful for every last effort from everyone.

The selflessness of this family is beyond words. And I know the love and support that is given to one another can be rare to find these days and I feel so fortunate to be wrapped so tightly in the arms of our entire family.

Finally we can now turn our major focus to our families next and most important arrival…..baby boo. Who we are all so excited to meet and welcome into this crazy, happy, loving, massive family.

For a family that wasn’t born into this way of life….hell we’re doing alright.

We are under the two week countdown till your due date and on constant tip toes knowing you could literally arrive at anytime to be with us and complete us 🥹.

36 weeks baby boo ❤️

I can’t believe that the four week countdown is on and so soon you’ll be in our arms. I can honestly say this is been the most amazing and special journey we have ever been on and I’ve enjoyed every moment of being pregnant and carrying our precious baby. Every kick and wriggle has been truly magic.

I didn’t think me and @dannythefarrier could ever be any closer but let me tell you, the way dan has looked after us through these 9 months has made me fall even more in love with him and I’m so grateful. He’s made me feel beautiful when I’ve felt my worst, he’s brought smiles to my face when I’ve been shattered, he’s snuggled when I’ve been tired, he’s made us feel like the most important people in the world with the smallest gestures and larger ones that mean everything to me. Through this whole pregnancy I have always felt 100% heard and so so loved by him. He has always made us his number one priority..

Honestly @dannythefarrier you are everything a daddy should be already and so much more.

I cannot wait till boo is in our arms and part of our chaotic life but I’m also still grasping hold of all these precious moments growing our baby and getting ready for their arrival. Clinging onto every kick from Boo and every kiss on my tummy from Dan before my body is no longer a little home for our baby and they are here with us.

THE MIGHTY NOOODLE!!!

This ewe literally rolled Fraser TWICE, which fair play to her she gets 10/10 for being a top maternal mum, but no one gets to roll fraser, especially not twice (and bless him he still wanted to keep pushing her to the field).

So I thought we’d try something a little different…..and in comes the wild card!!! The teckel turned sheepdog who speaks on command and has a heart of an absolute lion.
